Timer FAQ

The Timer tool is a free online countdown timer that lets you create and manage multiple timers at the same time. Set custom hours, minutes, and seconds, track progress with visual indicators, and get alerts when time is up. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Yes, it is completely free. There are no accounts, subscriptions, or hidden fees. All timers are stored locally in your browser.

Yes. You can create and run multiple timers simultaneously. Each timer operates independently, so you can track different activities at once, which is useful for cooking, workouts, Pomodoro sessions, or any time-sensitive task.

All timer data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Your timers persist across page refreshes, but they will not sync across devices. No data is sent to any server.

When a timer reaches zero, it shows a Time's Up message and plays an alert sound if your browser supports it. The timer stops automatically and highlights in red so it is easy to notice.

The circular progress ring around the play and pause button shows how much time remains compared with the total time set. As the timer counts down, the ring shrinks to give you a clear visual sense of time left.

Quick set buttons let you instantly set common timer durations like 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours. Just click a button to set that duration.

Any device with a modern browser works: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. The timer works entirely in your browser, so no app installation is required.

Click any timer to open its details dialog. From there, you can reset the timer to its original duration or delete it entirely. Reset restores the timer to its initial time, while Delete removes it permanently.
